Textile design for Kijinokanosei
Verkko is a double layered textile made of thick wool yarn and a thin cotton yarn base.
Using a Japanese special technique called « Chusen », the wool yarns are dyed with multiple colours, with an irregular looking effect. Crossing the warp and weft, a vibrant organic pattern appears.
Verkko fabric has been used for clothing, and interior items such as cushions.
Kijinokanosei、テキスタイルデザイン
Verkko（ヴェルッコ）は、太いウール糸と細いコットン糸のベースの、二重織のテキスタイル。
日本の特殊な染色技法である「注染（ちゅうせん）」を用いて、ウール糸に複数の色を不規則に染め上げることで、独特の風合いが生まれる。
経糸と緯糸が交差することで、有機的なパターンが現れる。
Verkkoのファブリックは、衣服やクッションなどのインテリアアイテムに使用されている。
