Pattern design for the Japanese fashion brand Loisir, AW24/25 collection
Mänty, means "pine" in Finnish.
During my forest walks, I like to smell the pine needles on the ground. The way they cover the ground is like a soft tapestry, with an unorganised but somehow organised natural motif.
The pattern has been used as embroidery for clothing and as socks knitting motif.
Loisir（ロワジール）2024/25年秋冬コレクション、柄デザイン
Mänty（マンテュ）は、フィンランド語で「松」。
森を歩くとき、私は地面に落ちた松の葉の香りを嗅ぐのが好き。
地面を覆う松葉は、まるで柔らかなタペストリーのようで、無秩序のようでいて、どこか整った自然の模様を描いているように見える。
この柄は、洋服の刺繍として、またソックスの編み柄として使用された。
